Welcome to the SMEC business office! I am here to serve the students and staff of SMEC by stewarding the resources provided by grants, member districts, and taxpayers; maintaining accurate and detailed records, internal controls, and procedures; and improving SMEC for future students and staff. This is my first year as the business manager. I earned my Bachelor's in Accounting and Economics from the College of Saint Scholastica (Duluth, MN) and have specialized in governmental accounting since 2016. Outside of work, I enjoy watching hockey, playing disc golf, exploring Minnesota State Parks with my wife, Hannah, and spending time with our Maine Coon cats.
